So finally, the 3rd and last Christmas recap. After we had Christmas at our house on Christmas morning we bundled up over our pj's and headed to mom and Jeff's for Christmas with them. We ate a yummy breakfast and opened presents while watching the snow fall outside. It was a perfect, ideal Christmas morning. We had a wonderful time and once again we were all very spoiled...especially the boys. :)
Mason's excited! :)
Caden opened a few presents, then he was ready to play...I ended up opening most of his.
Opening his "big" present from Nini and Poppy. :)
He was sooo excited about his tractor...the first real, big smiles from him in two days. :)
Taking Mason for a ride...Mason was thinking are yall crazy?! :)
The snow had just started falling and I walked out to take this picture and some church bells were playing "Away in a Manger"...it was a sweet reminder what the morning was really about.
Caden and Poppy...Jessie didn't leave his side. :)
We went home and took naps and played in the snow just a little bit. We didn't get to go to my mom's family's Christmas celebration since both of the boys were still sick but we had a nice day at home.
Yay for a White Christmas...still in our jammies. :)
Jason made Caden a little snowman and when he saw it he got sooo excited and he kept saying "Awww, snowman I hold you". His expression was priceless and something I never want to forget. :)
The snowman he was in love with. Everyday after, as he started to melt Caden would say "Oh no snowman" and still when we walk out of the house he'll say "Snowman, where are youuuu?" I wonder if he'll ever forget. :)
Our snow covered backyard, so beautiful.
We let Caden go out and play for a little while.
Caden and Daddy...he had a hard time walking it was so deep...when all was said and done we had around 8 inches.
He tried to ride his four-wheeler.
The end of the day...poor thing he was on steroids which made him so wired he couldn't go to sleep so we let him stay up and watch tv and he finally just crashed...sitting up. Bless his heart.
Christmas 2010 was wonderful despite all the little setbacks. We'll always remember Mason's 1st Christmas and the 1st white Christmas for all of us. Most of all we'll remember how very blessed we are and how thankful we are for the birth of our Savior.
