We celebrated Christmas with Jason's family on Christmas Eve morning. We were leaving out the door and Caden did a cough and I immediately thought surely he's not getting sick, but as the morning went on his cough became very croupy. He also was clearly not acting like himself and was pretty mopey. Mason also had a cold and was pretty pitiful himself. Regardless we still had a good time and Denis and Mary Ann made breakfast and it was so good! We were all very spoiled and got some great gifts!
The three boys...Mason was determined to get Caden's flashlight.

Nina, Papa, and the grandbabies. (Caden was tired of pictures...can you tell?)

After we left their house we went home to put the boys down for their naps and Caden was burning up and seemed very sick. During his nap he woke up and was having a really hard time breathing, I called the nurse and she said we needed to get him to the ER or urgent care. Luckily we got him calmed down so we just headed to urgent care. The doctor said he had croup, duh, and gave us some steriods to help him breathe better, with the warning to head to the ER if he was struggling to breathe again.
Unfortunately Caden was way too sick to go to my grandmother's on my Dad's side of the family so mom came and stayed with him and Jason, myself, and Mason headed to their house. We had a good time, Mason slept pretty much the whole time and he was feeling pretty puny himself. We didn't get to stay very long because my mom called and Caden was very upset and having a hard time breathing again...luckily she found Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and got him calmed down and he was ok by the time we got home.
The only picture I got that night...my grandmother, Mason and me :)
We came home and put the two sick babies to bed with hopes that they would feel a little better in the morning. :)
